While at art school, I took a class that had us draw Bargues. If you don't know anything about Bargue or his work...here's a link:

Basically it involved carefully measuring an original drawing with a small knitting needle and making points across a fresh page. These marks were then connected just like in connect the dots. Once we had the outline finished, we would work on the shading...which was done very carefully with a knife sharpened pencil. It was a long, but therapeutic process. We started off with smaller pieces...and still couldn't get them done in a semestre. This was my third piece (second semestre). It's not anywhere near complete, but I'm still pretty happy with it. I still have it mounted beside the original on my fibre board ready for me to go back to. Anyway, just thought I'd share it. Gotta get some new stuff up too...
