The annual “SpeakEasy Holiday Sale” will be held on Thursday, December 4th

at The Gladstone Hotel, from 8 pm to midnight. It’s an evening of arts,

crafts and seasonal fun. It’s a chance to shop for hand-crafted holiday gifts.

It’s an opportunity for the public to see the work of 40 local artists,

ranging from quirky one-off ceramics to handmade soap, jewellery

and hand painted Christmas cards.

More images from the 12 Days series of Christmas cards. Again, I'm still working out the colours while I finish the rest of the inking. Here's 9 ladies dancing and 6 geese a laying. Yay!

Here are some examples of the 12 days of Christmas cards. The colours aren't final and look like crap because they weren't web safe, but to give you an idea of the designs. I'm all tuckered out. More later!

I'm working on my 12 days of Christmas cards. Hopefully I can get them done soon. I figure if I ink at least 2 drawings a night I should be done for the weekend and able to colour them over the weekend which makes them ready for selling next week. We'll see if it all goes to plan.

I had wanted to also do a Christmas in the city pack of cards, but I don't think that'll happen. Just too little time left. I also have to print more onesies and t-shirts, make up some bags, frame some of my prints and maybe do some lino cards. I bought some watercolour postcard stock from Woolfitts and maybe I can lino some of my Christmas prints onto it. We'll see.

I did do a couple of drawings for the Christmas in the City theme...this is the most finished one I have. It's not a final drawing by any means but a nice little sketch.
